A new version of Publr has just been released. Here's what's new...
The Publr iPhone app is now available on the iPhone store.
The app supports the following post types:
- Text
- Photos (from library or camera)
- Audio (recorded)
- Links
- Maps (blogs your current location)
- Chats
- Quotes
Please check it out and leave any feedback or suggestions here.
So the other day, Publr v2 was launched, which included a new feature - following. The problem was, there was no way to find people to follow. Starting today, a new box will appear on your following page. This allows you to search for other users by username, blog name, or a person's real name.
For anyone who hasn't logged in in a while, I just wanted to create an official post that the new version of Publr is up now, as promised. Please send feedback and suggestions to info@publr.com
I just wanted to share a quick update to let everyone know that version 2 of Publr is nearing completion. The code base has nearly doubled and the design has a complete overhaul. The goal is to launch the new version no later than March 1st. Stay tuned!
For those Mac users out there, I've added a Dashboard widget to the tools page. It requires Tiger (10.4) or newer to run. You can create text type posts with it.
If you use ping.fm, you'll be glad to know that we've setup support their services. If you go to the tools page, you'll see a custom url that you can enter on your ping.fm account. Just go to: add application -> custom url, and paste your Publr ping.fm url there.
Additionally, there is a place in the settings page to enter your ping.fm application key so that anything you post on publr will also be published on your supported ping.fm services.
If you've uploaded any audio to your blog, you may notice that the audio player has changed. I've added a scrubber and progress bar to make listening to songs easier.
